Pixel Sizes

Below are a series of diagrams indicating the size of images in relation to the width and height in pixels.

These charts demonstrate the sizes of typical images on a website and what size they correspond to if printed.

 

Normal Screen Resolution

This diagram 10 boxes from 60x60pixels to 600x600pixels

 

Minimum Possible Print Resolution – 150dpi

This diagram shows the approximate size of the top diagram if printed at 150dpi

 

Normal Print Resolution – 300dpi

This diagram shows the approximate size of the top diagram if printed at 300dpi

Summary

As you can see, the sizes when printed are a lot smaller than the size they appear on the screen.
