Are you struggling to write your artist’s statement?
Artists need statements for exhibitions, publicity material and websites. A good artist’s statement provides the audience with an entry point into your work, stimulating curiosity about you and your art.

This practical workshop enables artists to produce statements that work for them. Workshop content includes a visualisation to help surface ideas, discussion of examples of good and poor quality artist’s statements, advice on style and structure.

The workshop is led by Colin Pink, a professional writer and coach. He is experienced at writing high quality publicity material for artists and is also an award winning playwright and poet.

Participants produce their artist’s statement during the workshop.

Fee: £45 per person in a small group (up to four people). One to one sessions also available.

Location: nearest tube Tottenham Court Road.

Dates: Friday 5 Sept or Tuesday 30 Sept

Start time 10.20am duration 3 hours
