Cheetah in Pastel. This workshop will show you how to paint a beautiful cheetah by way of demonstrations and one to one assistance. It will cover types of pastel and papers/boards and how to choose the right one for your project. Also included is information on safety with pastels, hints and tips on application methods, how to erase and correction methods. The workshop
will be in a step-by-step format with demonstrations on how to obtain realistic eyes, noses and fur and how the fur pattern translates to the underlying structures. The background will be a simple backdrop to enhance the main subject, but if you are so inclined, you can unleash your artistic flair and create your own background to personalise your painting. Paper included but you will need to supply your own pastel sticks and pencils.
