Details: Juan Tocino is a ground breaking discovery, having painted throughout his life it is only now that he is ready to show them to the world. Juan is a true artist – a world famous dancer and choreographer, his career in the arts has been epic – entwining every element of his being into his life works. Music, dance and painting flow with ease and poetic splendor. There is a sense of transition in his work. As Juan paints, he dances constantly – creating a continuous movement in his work. The form, colour and light generated through these emotional sea and landscapes, is rivaled only by the great masters. Each painting is inspired by a piece of music that will be played throughout the exhibition to accompany the work. Birds and two lonely figures are frequently depicted in his paintings reflected again the sense of movement and space. There are many dance references along with classical
and historical context. Juan works mainly from free expression, retrieving images from memory.
This a a truly magical show not to be missed!
