I was honoured Mark Wilson agreed to hang some of his paintings in a gallery I was consultant for last year. His work is tremendous and he is a lovely person to work with. I wish him every success.

I met Mark on Sunday at Renishaw amongst suitably skitty rainclouds and the ghost of John Piper. We had a great chat about art and shared advice and experience. I have seen and admired Mark's work since first seeing it at The South Yorkshire Open in The Cooper Gallery in Barnsley. It was great to find the man himself down to earth and very positive and generous. I like his art a lot and I wish him the best of luck and success.

I found your interview by accident while doing a 'Google' search. I am soooo pleased I found it. I love your work and found them very inspiring but what has touched a nerve for me was your interview itself. I am a struggling artist. I manage to pay the rent on my small studio space 12' x 12' but that is about it. I haven't the space at home as I live in a flat.

I love what I do and like you I am always striving to better my artwork and find new things with it. I am passionate about my work. Only last night I was doing a bit of networking and had such possitive comments but no money on the night which is very frustrating and makes me wonder why I am doing it. To finish on a good note,I had an offer of help to promote my business and need to contact the man who offered some free time to me in a couple of weeks so something may come of that.

I wish you continued success with your sales and like me, I can tell you won't give up but understand that feeling oh too well.

Bye for now, Cazzy
