Jamie Shovlin: Aggregate at ArtSway: Free Coach from Tate Britain
Jamie Shovlin’s exciting new show opens at ArtSway on Saturday 14 October 2006.
ArtSway has provided a free coach to the gallery in Sway, in the New Forest, near
Lymington, for the opening reception. We would be delighted to welcome visitors
from London to the gallery for the day, or visitors from further afield, nationally
and internationally, that may like to combine a trip to this exhibtion with a
visit to the Frieze Art Fair.
Shovlin is an Internationally recognised artist, who has recently exhibited at
Beck’s Futures 2006 and Tate Britain, in the Art Now space. ‘Aggregate’, the
artist’s latest exhibition, explores the boundaries between scientific systems of
understanding, and seemingly insignificant hobbies such as birdwatching and
jigsaw puzzle making – favourite pastimes of the artit’s mother.
The coach leaves from outside Tate Britain at 11:30 on Saturday 14 October 2006,
and will return to London for the early evening. A light lunch and drinks will be
provided. The coach is free, but booking is essential. Please contact Laura
McLean-Ferris on 01590 682260 x 16 or email mailto:laura@artsway.org.uk
The exhibition will continue until 26 November 2006.
