Berwick Writers Workshop are now againmeeting at The Maltings, Eastern Lane,
Berwick upon Tweed, and about to begin two WEA creative writing courses. Students
on these courses could also have the chance to see their writing published next
year.
Poetry for the Terrified, 7pm on Wednesday 11th October, is as much about
understanding poetry better as about writing it and can be studied on that level
if the individual wishes.
Writing for Beginners 2: Turning Fact into Fiction, 7pm on Wednesday 18th October,
aims to help writers turn their life experiences into fictional short stories.
Both courses will meet fortnightly with 5 sessions before Christmas and 5 in the
New Year. Cost of each course – Full fee £39, Concessions £27 & £3. All welcome.
