Arts Project Management

An information packed professional development programme that aims to:

Develop an understanding of the skills required to manage an art project
or event.

Provide experience in the design, marketing, delivery and evaluation of a
project.

Provide support throughout the development and delivery of arts project.

This 6 Monday modular programme consists of a series of workshops that can
be studied together or individually to include:

• Research and Development 9th October 2006
• Arts Marketing 16th October 2006
• Event Management 23rd October 2006
• Finance 30th October 2006
• Fundraising 6th November 2006
• Evaluation & Documentation 13th November 2006

The series will provide a safe environment for discussion and exploration
involving whole group and small group work that allows for ideas,
experiences and skills to be shared and valued.

It is hoped that artists will commence the programme with a project or event
that they wish to develop. Those that book and attend four or more modules
will receive 1:1 support in developing a finial proposal for submission to
funders or sponsors. Artists will be allocated an Artist Development
Co-ordinator who will work with and support you through the delivery of your
project or event once the application has been successful.

Cost:
£50 + £8.75vat Per module for Individuals
£100 + £17.50vat Per module for Not for Profit organisations
£200 + £35.00vat Per module for Public and Private Sector
